Looking For a Teacher? Advice For The Spiritual Seeker

It is important to understand today, that each and everyone of us has something to learn.  Life is a never ending lesson, after all that is the reason you and I chose to incarnate and take on simple flesh...to learn and evolve!

Those of us who have spent anytime whatsoever in the new age movement will acknowledge that crowds of people are continually running thither and yon looking for the next big teacher, or school of thought.  We truly are clouds being blown about with "every wind of doctrine".  We spend exorbitant amounts of time and money trying this new crystal, book, elixir, psychic, medium, _________(insert spiritual practice or accoutrement here).  It's no wonder so many of us are tired!  It's no wonder so many of us have forgotten what spirituality is really all about.  It's not about the next "new" thing my friends!  It's about the journey!  It's about learning, growing, and evolving to new heights and depths of spiritual understanding.

There is nothing "new" under the sun, and life is one big round.  Life is cyclical, a linear existence has never existed!  What is now once was, and what once was shall be again and again and again.  This is the beauty of our existence.  Even you and I will be again and again and again...no matter how high we progress in Spirit.  No matter where we find ourselves in this life or in the Spirit World; life will always exist in a cyclical pattern.  Why?  So, that life and existence can be fully lived and experienced.  To grow, change, and evolve.  Thank God that who I am today will not be who I am tomorrow!  Why?  Because, I am growing!  I am evolving!  I am changing!

You may be thinking...

"I NEED A TEACHER, I CAN'T DO THIS BY MYSELF!"... "You see, I have to have someone tell me what to think.  That's why this is why I go from this lecture, to that lecture.  That is why I spend an "arm and a leg" on this conference, and that new book.  This is why I obtain 6 psychic and 4 tarot readings per month.  I need guidance!"

My friend, you would be correct!  A teacher is most important on our journey...the relationships that are formed between a student (pupil)  and teacher (master) last through the eons, and it is a process and part of the journey that can never be abrogated.  However, my friends the teacher will not be found seeking him or her out.  No, when you're ready your teacher will appear!  Don't feel like you have to run from conference to conference.  Forget about loading up on all the latest fad stuff!  Breathe, center, and know that God is in control.  Have a silent knowing that your life is moving just as you (yes YOU)* planned for it to go.  There is a freedom in that understanding! 

We all have heard the saying that patience is a gift...well, that gift will bring about your access to the important figures you need in your life.  Those individuals (whom ever they may be) to help you learn something.  To teach you.  They may be there for days, months, or years.  However, when the time is right they will most surely come.  It's also very important for you to understand that there are "wolves in sheep's clothing" out there, and there are many people who would like nothing more than to take advantage of you.  Please know that your teacher will NEVER NEVER NEVER ask you to do something that doesn't feel right, or ask you to pay a price that is beyond your means.  Also, a teacher will NEVER NEVER NEVER make you dependent upon them.  A teacher will do just what the name implies... TEACH!  Run as fast and as far as you can from spiritual predators who would masquerade as teachers. 

My dear friends..stop being the cloud!  Desist from the feeling that you need to be carried around with every fad and fancy.  Be uniquely you, realize that your plan is set before you, and trust.  Be patient, and just know.   Your teacher will appear!

What will happen when the teacher (master) appears?

You will KNOW IT!  I know that sounds a little "pie in the sky", but it's true.  When the teacher appears your Spirit will bare witness with their Spirit, and there will be a type of commingling of essences.  You will in fact be joined in a spiritual union.  Now, I'm not talking about ecstasies here.  There will not be flashes of light or speaking in tongues...(haha) but there will be a spiritual union that will take place.  Your teacher's spiritual stamp will be placed upon you, and yours upon them.  It will be a connection that will last into the eons.  When this happens enjoy it, and when the lesson has stopped...when what you need to learn has been imparted to you you will also know that as well.  You and your teacher will know that the endowment has taken place and you each will move on to your own work.  However, the indelible mark has been placed upon both of your souls and there will be a maintained psychic connection.  For lack of a better word...your stuck together. 

If you're journeying, and looking for that special teacher or spending a small fortune trying to find the next bit of information.... For The love of God STOP!  Breathe, and let go!  Just silently know, and your teacher will appear.
